Heavenly Gingerbread Cake

2 c cake flour,sifted
1 t baking soda
1 t ginger
1/4 t salt
6 T butter
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c molasses
2 ea eggs,well beaten
1/2 c sour milk (or buttermilk)
Sift flour, soda, ginger, and salt together 3 times. Cream butter
and sugar until fluffy. Add molasses, eggs, and milk and beat well.
Fold in sifted dry ingredients; beat thoroughly and pour into greased
9″ x 9″ pan. Bake in moderate oven (350) 30 to 35 minutes.
